Hi everyone!

I just wrapped up a year of milestone baby photos with Rebecca and Christian, and this one was extra special – it was round TWO of the New Life Collection with them! They did the New Life Collection with their daughter Hazel, and when Rebecca was pregnant with their second baby, they knew they wanted to document his first year of life beautifully too. They even added on a couple of sessions to capture their first year together more fully!

But first – since I sadly never blogged big sister Hazel’s New Life Collection, here’s a peek at baby Hazel!

And just about one year later, we had a family session together including a special announcement… baby #2 on the way!

I think one of the coolest parts of a baby’s first year photo collection is getting to see baby’s older siblings grow up throughout the year, too. Scroll back up & look at the difference in Hazel from the maternity session to her little brother’s 1-year session!

Also – if you hadn’t noticed – there are a ton of amazing locations for photo sessions in Raleigh. I’ve done a *lot* of photo sessions with this sweet family, and so far we’ve managed to not repeat a single location.

Before I forget, here’s a peek at Simon’s New Life Collection album! Hazel showed him the album from her first year right before I came to deliver his album (I MEAN… how heartwarming!). This keepsake album holds your favorite images from across the year, and it takes all the pressure away to put together a baby book yourself. It’s a treasured piece that will be passed down through generations!

It’s truly an honor to journey with families as we capture baby’s first year of life, and I’m so excited to continue capturing this family as their kids continue to grow!
