Spring Snippet Session at Home with Liz & her Girls

Hey everyone!

Spring is upon us! (And currently, the pollening.) Today I’m sharing one of my favorite quick & easy photo sessions with springtime candid documentary family photos in Raleigh. Liz had some things ready before I arrived so we could make the most of our 30 minutes together with two of her daughters!

In this short amount of time, we captured some Bananagrams, planting seeds, blowing bubbles, backyard play on the swingset, making smoothies (and screaming at the top of their lungs – a tradition, of course), and a golf cart ride. YES, all within a 30-minute snippet session!

My favorite part of any unposed, documentary-style family session like this is seeing you as yourself – in your element, with your people, doing things you love. I get a peek into what your life actually looks like, and you get to have moments captured that represent this season of life. You’ll revisit these photos years & years from now, getting a peek into what this time actually looked like & felt like. (And mama, you’ll actually be in the photos, too… which is a huge reason why I take photos like this.) It’s an absolute honor for me to play a part in that.

So enjoy seeing a snippet of a spring afternoon in the life of Liz & her family – and book your own candid family photo session here!

Making smoothies (with some fun family traditions)

Their family screams at the top of their lungs while the blender is running – because if it’s loud, may as well make it louder right? And when else can you scream that loudly?
